What exactly are Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole hinting at?

There have been talks of a Kendrick Lamar/J. Cole project collaboration for years. Rightfully so, since both have mentioned working on it at one time or another. However, talk has gone awfully quiet, and the idea of a project ever coming to fruition is seeming more and more unrealistic.

With all this being said, Kendrick and Cole are teasing us a bit today. Kendrick switched up Cole's 'A Tale of 2 Cities' while Cole did his own version of Kendrick's 'Alright', both entitled 'Black Friday' and dropped within seconds from each other. Weird, right? Almost seems... coordinated? Perhaps?

Make sure you listen to closely to the end of Cole's song: "When you and K. Dot shit drop? Bitch never. They can't handle two black n****s this clever, but this February shit got scary when I fuck around and drop... *BEEP*"

I don't know what that means. Who knows what that means? Don't read too much into any of this and get your hopes up. But it's certainly interesting.
