WebsterX has been on a roll for quite a while now. The leader of the growing movement, New Age Narcissism (NAN), was most recently honored at the 36th annual Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) awards, taking the Artist of the Year award. Live performance and visuals are key aspects of his art that have gotten him to this point. It's only appropriate that today he releases a brand new music video. This is his third collaboration with filmmakers Cody LaPlant and Damien Klaven, after much critical acclaim coming to their previous visuals for 'Doomsday' and 'Lately'.
The latest visual is for 'Everything', which is part of WebsterX & Q The Sun's three-track Radiohead-inspired EP, 'KidX'. The team upped the ante from previous high-marks with this one. There may or may not be a CGI spaceship involved. WebsterX's signature 'Lost Identity' mask stars. Let the visual speak for itself, but don't expect to gather much of an understanding of it just yet. As WebsterX tells Pigeons & Planes, he has a vision, a message for us, but he wants to reach the world before he reveals it in full. Per usual, an element of mystery. Take a deep breath and press play.
Fun note - the NAN 'familia' notion gets a new meaning with this video: the kids starring in it are the nieces, nephews, and brother of Lex Allen.
